Swim

Swim Route:           

·         The swim is an out and back course

·          Swim will start from a large boat dock

·         Swim will finish in the beach area

Water Temperature:          Anticipated to be 78-80 degrees

Swim Notes: The course will be marked with buoys and will be patrolled by lifeguards in canoes and kayaks

The Run course is closed until early May. The opening of these areas to foot traffic is at the                         discretion of the Austin Parks and Recreation Department.

BIKE

Bike Route:     

§  The bike takes place along the perimeter of Decker Lake

§  At transition, exit the park via the main gate

§  Turn right on Hog Eye Road which merges into Decker Lake Rd.

§  Turn right into the Travis County Expo Center Gate 3

§  Follow the perimeter road

§  Exit via Gate 1

§  Turn right on to Decker Lane

§  Turn right on Lindell Lane

§  Follow Lindell to Bloor Rd

§  Turn right onto Highway 973

§  Turn right on Decker Lake Rd

§  Turn right on Blue Bluff Rd

§  Re-enter the park via the main gate

§  Exit at transition to begin run

§  Follow path back to transition
