2012 Webster, MA

1/2 Mile Swim | 12 Mile Bike | 3 Mile Run

The 2012 season will be the sixteenth consecutive one for “the Danskin” in MA and number “10” in WEBSTER!  The SWIM will take place in Lake Chargoggagoggmanchaugagoggchaubunagungamaugg – which translates to “you fish on your side, I’ll fish on mind and no one fishes in the middle.”  The course be triangular with a start from Memorial Beach. Water temperature is typically in the 70’s.  The single loop BIKE course offers a change up from straight and flat being a fairly hilly one that follows winding residential roads.  Cyclists will be challenged by some fairly steep hills (but remember one goes up ALSO goes down!) and turns.  The out and back RUN is along paved roads.
