Course Overview
Due to ongoing construction at at Race Site, Bike course length has been modified
SWIM
Distance: 1/2 mile (distances are approximate)
Route:

The course is triangle in design and all buoys will be on your left while swimming.

The ½ mile swim takes place in the protected waters of the Lower New York Bay.

Swim Start and Finish will be staged on the beach at the U.S. Coast Guard Station at Sandy Hook which is located on the Northern end of Sandy Hook National Park.

The distance from the Swim Finish to the Transition Area is approximately 700 yards.

BIKE
Distance: 9.5 miles (distances are approximate)

The Bike is a flat and fast out and back course starting South of the U.S. Coast Guard Station to the Park entrance and back.

RUN
Distance: 3.1 miles (distances are approximate)
Route:

After exiting the Transition area, take a left on Hartshorne Road

Take Hartshorne Road to a right turn on the first park road before Canfield Road

Take park road to a right turn on Knox Road

Take Knox Road to a left turn on Kilpatrick Road

Take Kilpatrick Road to a right turn on Canfield Road

Take Canfield Road to a right turn on S. Bragg Drive

Take S. Bragg Drive to a left turn on Hudson Drive
-
Take Hudson Drive to a right turn on Magruder Road
-
Take Magruder Road to a right turn on the park road just after the James J. Howard Marine Sciences Laboratory

Take this park road to a right turn through a parking lot that will connect to Kessler Road
-
Go right on Kessler Road to the run turn around just before Hudson Drive

The final finish line is located on Kearney Road next to the post Race tent
